Flea Market

Finally we made it real and we went to the Flea Market with my friend Ayperi today =)) I am so mad at myself, I don't know how come I did not discover this place before. I will be sharing a lot of pictures today including the goods that we have bought. The place was the heaven of jewelry, we will definitely be back !!!

Firstly, I wanna share the atmosphere with you guys, Later on our goods =))

pins, rings and earrings..

a lot of dolls =)) including cowgirls, irish girls and naked ones..

I got a Bryan Adam's Greatest Hits CD from the next stand. I have been looking for it for a long time but somehow I could not get it. So now, it is gonna be a real memory for me, since I got it from here. Everything happens for a reason..

we are going to upstairs ..

our dear friend deer is welcoming us..

This stand has a lot of vintage stuff, we spent most of our time in here by talking with the sweet owner..

Summer hat earrings, grandmotherly made =))

more earrings..

Old Style Film Cameras, I did not get one this time but I might get one next week..

beautiful wine case

still shiny, old style oven from 1940s..

No we are not in Germany =)) Beer mugs, after seeing our pictures, guys were saying they will get one next week.. Woman's mind vs. Man's mind =))

Kitchen goods

Mixers

Beautiful pins reminding me beautiful Russian girls..but of course this is not the case.

These pins are the symbol of the "flapper style" in the 1920s. Wikipedia says Flapper in the 1920s was a term applied to a "new breed" of young Western women who wore short skirts, bobbed their hair, listened to jazz, and flaunted their disdain for what was then considered acceptable behavior.
Flappers were seen as brash for wearing excessive makeup, drinking, treating sex in a casual manner, smoking, driving automobiles and otherwise flouting social and sexual norms. Please see the picture below to see better what I am trying to explain =))

Anyway we love them, that's why people keep looking at Flappers' costumes at the Halloween time.
Let's go back to the Flea Market..

more jewelry..

Now, this is time to show what we have got over there in a very limited time..

shoes, a bow-tie, earrings and a cuff..

Love in the first sight.. I thought they were gonna be expensive but no they were not..May be they were but the owner liked us, so I got them just for $1.

Right side - Cuff, bow-tie and earrings are mine, left side - 3 earrings are Ayperi's.

A pair of shoes for $1, OMG what a deal..

I know this post is a kind of long and crazy but this does not mean I am not gonna post anything in this week. Stay tuned !! Btw I am trying to expand my network, so please feel free to follow =P
