Perfect match, color & fabric

Today, I went to a fabric bazaar in Ankara just to look around and I saw this amazing fabric. I am dreaming about a dress for my best friend's wedding (or engagement party, which will be sooner ).
Btw, I found a tailor and bought some fabrics, he will make a long-lace skirt for me, I am hoping to post its picture on sunday, after another wedding on Saturday =)) To be honest I am little nervous and excited about the skirt, I hope my imagination will match with the tailor's =))

A Quick Update & Istanbul

Okay, I know, I was away for sometime but I am back now. My days went wild after I came back to Turkey. I saw many friends and spent time with them. Two of my friends decided to get married (including my best friend) and I was partying =)) By the time, I went to Istanbul 100 times and took a lot pictures. To be honest, I was also cheating my blog with Instagram. 

At the same time, I know a lot of people attended to NYFW and IFW (Istanbul fashion week). I was just able to follow NYFW with the help of photos that people uploaded to Instagram. 

Today, I will share some photos that I took in Istanbul, basically I am discovering the city again. I will be starting to work soon, I already rented a place, so stay tuned for more photos in Istanbul.

Thierry Mugler Alien is expensive because..

For sometime, my favorite fragrance is Thierry Mugler ALIEN =)) I am sure everybody will remember ANGEL which has been created by Thierry Mugler earlier. It was really sweet for me but I think Alien is different.

What is so special about ALIEN? The answer is it lasts forever and ever. 

I want to buy this perfume so badly however, it is really pricy. I went to a department store and asked for the reason. They explained, Alien is really long lasting because it has a very high ratio of scent in compare to the others. According to the salesman, Thierr Mugler ALIEN has around 14% perfume scent while Channel has just around 10%. 

So, I am back to my starting point, I still want it so bad =((

Biliyorum uzun zamandir hic bisey yazmadim ama zamani gelmemisti sanirim. Sonunda Turkiye'ye dondum; bu uzun aradan sonra en ufak seylerden bile zevk aliyorum diyebilirim. Toplu tasim araclarina binmek, olur olmaz herkesle konusmak basta gelenlerden. Cok detaya girmeden birkac resim paylasacagim. Bugun Sariyer'de kendime bir ziyafet verdim, midye tava, midye dolma, salata ve izgara cupra ile.. Bir gram pismanlik duymadan hepsini bir guzel mideye indirdim, yillarin acisini cikartiyorum kolay mi !

Turkiye'de modaya gelirsek cok sey degismemis diyebilirim, genel olarak Zara ve Mango favori sanki..Mango Amerika'da pahali oldugu icin ben de, az da olsa yaptigim alisverislerde Mango'yu tercih ettim. Belli ki Urban Outfitters ve Anthropologie cok ozlenecek burada..Bu arada benim kacis noktam olan Yargici harika, tek kelimeyle bayildim, tabii ki yine krem, kahve, toprak tonlari hakim Yargici'da =)) Ek olarak Topshop bir hayal kirikligi oldu diyebilirim, biraz kati bir yorum olacak ama NY Topshop buraya eskilerini yolluyor bence :// Simdilik bu kadar, bir dahaki sefere kadar kendinize iyi bakin burdan kocaman selam olsun Hartford'dan ve NY'dan bu yaziyi okuyanlara =))

My last trip to NY

I wanted to see Metropolitan Museum before I go back to Turkey. So, I made a short trip to NY to see both the museum and my friends =(( It was so much fun as always. We went to the museum on monday but we could not make it, since it is closed on mondays. We found a good reason to go to Soho, I really hope that I can leave Topshop without a bag one day =)) We spent the whole tuesday in Metropolitan, it was incredible, there is a lot to see over there, it is impossible to see all over the museum in one day :// I have tons of pictures to share =))

Los Angeles, Urth Caffe

Biliyorum teorik olarak Grand Canyon postu yapmam gerekiyordu ama onu sonraya biraktim. Fazla soze gerek yok Los Angeles'da Urth Caffe adinda bir yere kahvaltiya gittik (Orda yasayan bir arkadasimin tavsiyesi uzerine). Her sey muhtesemdi, buyuk sehirleri iste bu yuzden seviyorum. Farkli kulturlerin hepsi, farkli damak zevklerini sehre tasiyor, oyle olunca da bize sehrin tadini cikarmak dusuyor.

Spanish Coffe Latte

Benim yedigim Urth Caffe'nin yeni cikmis spesyellerinden biriydi, calisanlar tavsiye edince hemen denemek istedim =)) Ben de Turkiye'de canim annecigime ellerimle benzerini yapmayi deneyecegim. Yesillikleri bir guzel yikayip incecik dilimlenmis pastirmaya saricam. Onun altina tipki burdaki gibi bir dilim ekmek ve mozeralla peyniri. En uste ise bu sekilde nasil pisirebilecegimi bilmedigim yumurtaa=)) Yanina kavun olmazsa olmaz !!

Vegas hakkinda daha cok ..

Paylasmak istedigim bu yazilari, tipki yasadigim sirayla size aktarmak istedim. Boylece hem kendim icin bir arsiv niteligi tasiyacaklar, hem de detaylari hatirlayip size aktarmam daha kolay olacak. 

Her ne kadar yorgun olsak da, ilk gece Ka'yi seyrettikten sonra tabii ki dogruca otel odasina gidemedik, Las Vegas'i daha yakindan gormek istedik. Unutmadan soylemek istiyorum Vegas'ta en cok hosuma giden seylerden biri araba park sorunu olmamasi. En luks otellerin bulundugu caddeye (yani hepimizin gormek istegi kisim) "Las Vegas strip" deniyor ve bu kisimda otellerin park yerleri bulunuyor, hepsi de bedava.

Ilk once gittigimiz otellerden biri Bellagio'ydu. Bellagio'nun onunde, etrafinda kisa bir tur atabileceginiz buyuklukte bir golet var. Burda her gece belli bir saate kadar, araliklarla, muhtesem bir fiskiye show oluyor. Vegas'a gelenlerin ilgi gosterdigi ve izlenmesi gereken bir gosteri oldugunu soyleyebilirim. Otelde ilk dikkatimi ceken seylerden biri (onceden postladigim otelin tavanina asilmis semsiyeler disinda) inanilmaz guzel lobisi oldu (Resmi hemen asagida). Renkler, cicekler oylesine canli ki, tum yorgunlugumuza ragmen, icimiz acildi.

Yine Bellagio'nun icinde gordumuz sasirtici seylerden biri, Guinness rekorlar kitabina girmis bu devasa cikolata fondusuydu..

Son olarak, Bellagio'nun icinde Picasso adindaki bir restorandan bahsetmek istiyorum. Burasi gercek Picasso tablolari etrafinizdayken, yemek yiyebileceginiz bir yermis, cok sahane olsa gerek !! (Yemegi agzima gorutebilirsem sayet =) )

Bellagio'dan ayrilmamiz her ne kadar biraz zaman almis olsa da, sonunda basardik. Asagidakiler sokakta gezerken, benim cektigim rastgele resimler.

Kuklalariyla un salmis Terry Fator. Onceden Netflix'de izlemis olmama ragmen Vegas'ta showu oldugunu bilmiyordum. Kuklalari kendinin konusturdugunu anlamaniz neredeyse imkansiz =))
